DAY 5 - 2nd January

We arrived at St Kitts on the day of their annual carnival which was eye opening and deafening
The whole town seemed to have dressed up .... but the costumes were better than the organisation! The parade took several hours to assemble, was extremely colourful and noisy, but disappeared to no where in minutes!!!

The evening continued with an informal dinner followed by a South Sea's Party
|
Maciek advised us on the best food.... |
We commenced dining in style.... |

And wining in style.... |
But as we drank even more wine... |
|
It started to have strange effects (on some people at any rate)... |
Some wanted to be on all the photos... |
|
|
After dinner we retired to the deck for dancing and partying....
The girls especially went wild .... (For the photographer!) |

At midnight we retired to the "Wheel Tappers & Shunters" to celebrate Geoffs coming of age! (We weren't sure what age except that it was older than the rest of us - i.e.bloody old!!!) |
