DAY 3 - 31st December 2001
Barbados & New Years Eve(s)

The first thing we did when we hit Barbados was to hire the biggest air conditioned car we could find! (And the smallest - in fact it was the only one they had left!) Geoff drove - the missing doors were the air conditioning system!

The 2nd thing we did was hit our favourite bar - luckily they were just sweeping up the broken glass as we arrived! .... |

The 3rd thing was to hit water & cool off.... |
We even found time to pose! |

Les navigated Geoff drove - we got lost - slowly Being overtaken by a 2CV when driving a 7 series BMW in Germany was bad enough - but being over taken by native runners when driving a wheelbarrow was too much!!! |
Geoff insisted on us all wearing special head gear when he was driving! |
Letting in 3 New Years...
The UK's, Rockall's & Wherever-we-where's
| Left - The New Year celebrations started soberly with
several bottles of champagne in Dennis's suite.
Below - It soon warmed up with more champagne in the "Wheel Tappers & Shunters" where we were to celebrate the British New Year!! |

After the wild celebrations of letting in the British New Year, we moved on to our specially reserved table in the dining room for a more reserved dinner.......

Bren & Jill chatted up a couple of Toy Boys .... |
Sue & Les celebrated New Year on behalf of Rockall .... |

Bren & Jill blew there own trumpets accompanied by some little chap in the corner .... |
Les recruited two new members for his new party (He thought a New Year Party meant you had to form a Party in the New Year - so he did what his Dad did in 1933) |

The party slowly subsided into anarchy................... |

And eventually finished when
everyone was seeing double! (or was it drinking doubles?)
Where have Les & "Madge" gone? Ever since Les formed his new party, they've been conspicuous in their absence from these last pictures!!!! |
Day 3 ended sometime early in the evening - we don't know when & frankly didn't care!
