But a Good Start....
| The year started well with our "2004 Big Trip" - this was A quick
round the world trip 'Westabout' ( We went 'Eastabout' with the kids back in '84
for Jill's 40th) - Only snag was that Jill had started suffering with her back
and consequently had a few problems with the traveling. However, pain killers,
large amounts of booze and a 'shooting stick' eased the problem somewhat.
The trip was based on a two week cruise from Auckland, NZ to Sydney. We stayed on in Sydney for a few days and then stopped off in Hong Kong for a few days. It proved to be great fun. We made many new friends and met a few old ones. (Click here for a picture tour of the trip.) |
