Jill
took off again for Spain, this time with Shireen who was interested in
buying one of the houses near to us.
They seem to have had a hectic time trying to sort out the
possible purchase, but in the end it came to nothing.
They did however come back with suntans so it can’t have been
all bad! |

This
was Christopher’s final term at Bristol.
Unfortunately, since he had missed one examination in 1999 (he
forgot to turn up – apparently that’s what all the best Philosophers
do!!), he
was pretty well guaranteed
a “Desmond”, as he put it,
a
2-2
to the rest of us!
Still he was working hard – or so he told us.
In the event, although this time he turned up a week early for
one examination, he did manage a disappointing “Desmond”.
